How we ensure the Quality:

  • Skilled people are the main value that we have, so we try to take the best possible care of all the people working in LHM. Therefore the rotation of workers in LHM is very small, and many good specialists work in LHM since the start of the company;
  • Controlling the drying process is very important. We make sure that all materials for log house building are below 20% humidity. Drying massive logs that are 20cm thick down to such moisture content is very long and costly process. We don’t dry till we need the logs for production. We dry them till the computer control shows that the moisture content is below 20%. All our customers have moisture content guarantee in our contracts.
  • LHM is arranging trainings for all teams working in construction sites. In such a way we ensure that each team is keeping up to standard when assembling and installing LHM houses;
  • Each month production leaders visit projects and control the quality of the work being performed. During such visits feedback from the teams and the customers is registered and later it is used in order to improve the prefabrication, assembly and installation processes;
  • LHM has developed what we call “Customer details” sheet. This is the document, which is filled in by the customer along with the agreement. There customer chooses floor, walls and ceiling type for each room, window and door colors and many other things. Having “customer details” enables to avoid any misunderstandings between the supplier and the customer .

What is included?

  • In LHM delivery we include all, what is necessary for the house. So it is easier to describe what is not included: foundation, plumbing, electricity, tiles and other masonry jobs like setting up the chimney, fireplace or making concrete subfloors. If your roof is turf roof, then LHM will supply a “warm roof” construction. In such a case customer has to arrange welding of PVC and deliver special Rockwool insulation for the warm turf roofs.
  • Most of materials inside and outside are untreated (except windows), so it is customers decision what treatment to apply and how to do it.
    When customer gets an offer from LHM, all materials are described there in details. So it is always very clear what is included in the delivery from LHM.
