LOG HOUSES
LHM builds log houses made of dried, hand-finished cutted logs.
LHM build log houses using traditional Norwegian building method "lafteteknikk". Log houses can be of any size - from 1m2 dog house to the exclusive and huge projects. When building a log house it is important to have a good drawing so that the walls and roof construction is stabile during the years to come. It is essential to dry timber properly in order to decrease the shrinkage of timber after the log house had been assembled. LHM usually has big stock of timber in different lengths, sometimes up to 10 meters, in order to be able to build any log project without making any log joints in the walls.
LHM is experienced in delivering projects including all wooden materials and assembling work to the customers. We use natural sheep wool in between the logs in order to ensure the best insulation results. Inside materials like floors, panels and lists are comming from the best quality suppliers in Sweden. Maybe therefore it is a very rare case that LHM sell only log constructions. Normally it is complete wooden delivery.
